Privacy Policy
This policy covers the catalogue at eco.wool2.online. Updated 26 October 2026. The controller is identified in Seller and below.
Contact the controller
Seller and data controller: Ecowool, registered business name No. 759148 (Companies Registration Office, Ireland). SIXBYY is a separate operator and acts as EcoWoolâs data processor for the concierge platform under an Article 28 data processing agreement (DPA). For GDPR and privacy requests: privacy@ecowool.ie. No separate data protection officer is designated.
Please provide only the information needed to locate your request. Identity verification may be requested where proportionate.
What is used, why, and on what basis
The server receives your IP address, requested URL, time and browser request information to serve and protect the website. The legal basis is legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: operating and securing the catalogue.
Language and cookie choices: the portal remembers the language you request and your consent preference to respect those choices (legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f)). Access to strictly necessary device storage does not require optional-cookie consent. Optional concierge technologies require your consent, Article 6(1)(a), before loading.
The catalogue has no contact-submission form. An activated concierge can create follow-up/contact records from conversation content; see Concierge privacy. You can instead use hello@ecowool.ie for enquiries or privacy@ecowool.ie for privacy requests.
Email enquiries are handled through the ownerâs own mail server. Requested pre-contract enquiries use Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; general correspondence uses Article 6(1)(f), to answer your enquiry. Privacy requests are handled under the controllerâs legal obligations, Article 6(1)(c). A reply address and relevant message are sufficient.
No advertising, marketing subscription, sale of personal data, profiling or decisions with legal or similarly significant effects are implemented in the portal. Optional AI assistance is not an ordering or eligibility decision service. Do not enter sensitive information or payment card details.
Cookieless analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics without cookies for aggregate visit statistics (pages, country, referrer and device). Cloudflare acts as our processor; IP addresses are not used for tracking.
Hosting, concierge and other recipients
The catalogue at eco.wool2.online is served from the ownerâs Raspberry Pi. The physical server, backup and support locations for this origin have not been independently verified. Email uses the ownerâs mail service. Fonts and media are site assets.
The AI concierge is currently off until its privacy safeguards and release checks are complete. When available, it requires optional-technology consent and a separate Start AI action. SIXBYY is a separate operator and acts as EcoWoolâs data processor for the concierge platform under an Article 28 data processing agreement (DPA). Model providers include OpenAI in the United States. Transfers require binding SCCs under Commission Decision (EU) 2021/914 and supplementary measures, including masking, encryption and restricted access. Do not share health information or other sensitive details. Health-related fragments must be masked before model disclosure or storage and must not be stored; activation awaits verification. For access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection where applicable, or withdrawal of consent, contact privacy@ecowool.ie; Cookie settings also allows withdrawal. The usual response period is one month. You may complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission. Full details are in Concierge privacy, linked in the footer.
Retention and deletion
The website has no enquiry form storage. NEXT_LOCALE is a functional language cookie retained for 180 days. ecowool.cookie-consent.v1 records your latest optional-concierge choice; it is valid for 180 days. An expired or invalid choice never permits optional loading. An expired entry can remain in browser storage until replaced or removed.
The web-server settings observed on 26 October rotate shared access/error logs daily with fourteen rotations plus the active file. This does not establish a maximum lifetime across journals or backups. Logs can contain IP, URL/query, time, status, referer and browser details. Enquiry mail is kept while needed to answer or resolve the matter, handle related claims or meet a legal duty. Complete mail, journal and backup deletion schedules are unverified.
Concierge correspondence: 30 days after the last message. At expiry, delete messages, replies, session/history records, transcript archives and searchable copies, and related follow-up contacts, summaries and excerpts. Provider copies and backups must follow a verified schedule consistent with this rule before activation; any legally required exception is restricted to the specific record and period. See Concierge privacy.
International transfers
The concierge is currently off, so this catalogue initiates no AI transfer. When available, SIXBYY acts as EcoWoolâs processor and authorised model providers include OpenAI in the United States. The agreed transfer basis is SCCs under Commission Decision (EU) 2021/914, Article 46 GDPR, with minimisation, health-text masking, encryption, restricted access and tested deletion. The applicable binding SCCs, onward recipients and transfer assessment must be verified before activation. Copies of safeguards: privacy@ecowool.ie. Website hosting, mail and backup locations still require their separate verification.
Your rights and complaints
Depending on the processing and legal conditions, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests; any direct marketing would be subject to an unconditional right to object. You can withdraw consent at any time using Cookie settings, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier consent-based processing.
Send requests to privacy@ecowool.ie or the place of business shown in Seller, if provided. The normal GDPR response period is one month; a permitted extension requires notice and reasons within that month. Statutory conditions apply.
You can complain directly to the Data Protection Commission, Ireland, or your relevant EU supervisory authority. Contacting the controller first may help resolve the issue; this does not restrict your right to lodge a complaint. The DPC may ask for relevant correspondence.
PostHog EU analytics
Only with your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), PostHog processes page paths without queries, menu/language/product/consultation clicks, timestamps and a random in-memory identifier in the EU. Every event is marked site=ecowool. No form text, email addresses, names, IP storage, geolocation, advertising, automatic click capture or session recording. Cloudflare Web Analytics remains cookieless. With your consent, PostHog also collects pointer positions and click coordinates to create heatmaps.
PostHog identifiers last only until the page is reloaded or closed; no PostHog cookies or persistent browser storage are used. Events follow project retention: one year on the free plan (up to seven years if the plan changes to pay-as-you-go). Your consent choice lasts 180 days. Reject or withdraw at any time in Cookie settings in the footer: capture stops and PostHog browser storage is removed. Withdrawal does not erase events already sent; contact privacy@ecowool.ie to request deletion.
Terms
Terms for using the catalogue and, when enabled, consumer distance sales. Mandatory consumer rights apply.
Catalogue â orders and payments are currently unavailable.
AI concierge: information and human confirmation
The optional concierge is an AI assistant, including any generated voice. Its answers are general information and are not intended to be an offer, acceptance, order confirmation or individual professional advice. AI can misunderstand a question or provide inaccurate or incomplete information. Check material product facts with the atelier before relying on an answer.
Only authorised atelier staff confirm final prices, discounts, promotional codes, delivery dates, stock commitments, orders, discretionary returns or exchanges, and additional commercial guarantees in writing. The AI cannot conclude or change a contract, take payment, grant a discount, approve or deny a refund, or promise a result. For these matters, use the atelier's contact channel. This confirmation process does not make a statutory return, cancellation, complaint or other legal remedy conditional on our approval or a particular form of communication.
The assistant must not assess medical suitability or allergies, give legal advice or make unsupported claims about competitors. Please do not submit health information or payment details. For personal medical or legal advice, consult a suitably qualified professional. The atelier can provide product composition and care information.
EcoWool remains responsible as the seller for its obligations to consumers. Nothing in this notice or these terms excludes or limits mandatory liability, statutory consumer rights or remedies under applicable Irish or EU consumer law, or the legal effect of a representation or commercial guarantee where the law makes it binding. An AI disclaimer does not excuse misleading information. You do not have to pursue the technology supplier to seek a remedy from the seller. If an answer appears wrong, contact the atelier so it can be checked and corrected.
Catalogue and enquiries
The catalogue is available for browsing. In showcase mode, prices are indicative and orders and payments are not accepted through this website. General enquiries: hello@ecowool.ie.
AI disclosure
The optional concierge is an AI system, not a human member of the atelier. Its text and any generated voice can be inaccurate. This notice is also shown before the assistant can start. Seller and data controller: Ecowool, registered business name No. 759148 (Companies Registration Office, Ireland). SIXBYY is a separate operator and acts as EcoWoolâs data processor for the concierge platform under an Article 28 data processing agreement (DPA).

What the assistant can and cannot do
The assistant may explain catalogue information, fit, care and delivery topics. Check material facts with the seller through the contact details in About the seller. It cannot take a binding order, guarantee stock or delivery, approve a refund, or make a decision affecting your legal rights. Its answers do not override agreed terms or consumer rights.
Data, voice and your choice

Any future voice feature must identify synthetic speech, explain capture and recording before it begins, provide a separate microphone action and stop control, and offer a text alternative. Browser microphone permission alone does not authorise recording, training or indefinite storage. No claim about the external providerâs output marking or training policy is made here.
Article 50 of the EU AI Act addresses transparency for AI interactions and certain synthetic content. This interface notice does not certify the providerâs compliance or its machine-readable output marking. Provider responsibilities must be verified before activation.
Accessibility information and feedback
We aim to make the catalogue usable with keyboard navigation, assistive technology, zoom and reduced motion. This is an accessibility information page, not a certification of full compliance.
Our approach
Our technical target is WCAG 2.2 level AA. The portal includes a skip link, semantic headings, language identification, labelled controls and reduced-motion fallbacks. Automated scores assess only the pages and states tested; they do not establish that every part of the service is accessible.
The applicability of Irish e-commerce accessibility requirements and any microenterprise exemption has not been determined. No exemption or full conformity is claimed.
Known limitations and work still needed
The external AI chat/voice service is disabled and has not been assessed here. There is no checkout to assess. Media transcripts, captions and audio descriptions are not verified across every item and language; cinematic material and all interaction states still need manual review. Legal pages currently have full English, Russian and Ukrainian text; other languages use a labelled English fallback.
Further manual screen-reader, keyboard, zoom/reflow and media checks are needed. Report a barrier to hello@ecowool.ie so an accessible alternative and remedy can be considered.
Request help or report a barrier
Email hello@ecowool.ie with the page, barrier and preferred accessible format. Device or assistive-technology details are optional. Do not include health information or other sensitive details.
Email hello@ecowool.ie or use the place of business in About the seller, if provided. For applicable unresolved e-commerce accessibility issues, contact the CCPC.
